Lucky for us, Perth has been having a mild winter, meaning it is the perfect weather to go and explore the sights throughout the city.

Winter Events in Perth for 2015:
Wednesday 1 July – Sunday 26 July
Winter Garden has plenty of things on offer this winter in Fremantle. At 600 metres, there is a skating rink planned for Fremantle’s Esplanade and it’s being touted as the biggest in Australia. It will be built in time for the July school holidays. Other winter garden attractions include an inflatable slide, igloo hire, entertainment and more. Not to be missed.
Friday June 26th – Sunday June 28th
A celebration of all things Pop Culture featuring special guests, anime, comic-books, manga, sci-fi, tv shows, movers, gaming, cosplay and more.
PERTH CITY SNOW SLIDE
Saturday 4th July – Sunday 19th July / 10am-4pm
Bring your kids down to enjoy the novelty of sliding down an icy slope in the heart of Perth City. Smaller kids can ride the 4m slide, while bigger kids can enjoy a 12m slide. For more information, take a look here.
LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING SCORE, PERTH
This year from 12 – 13 June, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra presents the third and final installment of The Lord of the trilogy by popular demand. Winner of 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Score, Howard Shore’s Academy Award-winning score will be performed live to the epic motion picture by WASO, WASO Chorus and soloists.
