Because we live here, we know the best places to go! Food, bevies, nature or kiddie activities, here are our insider tips of what not to miss on your visit to the Bunbury region this holiday season. Perhaps we may even convince you to stay forever!

The foodie’s fave.

A stop at the Bunbury Farmers Market has become a tradition for anyone travelling down the Forrest Highway into Bunbury. The produce is as fresh as it gets and mostly organic, sourced from local farmers. If you’re feeling peckish, it’s also the place to grab a bite on the go.

The best nature experience … ever!

A trip to Bunbury is not complete without visiting the Dolphin Discovery Centre at Kombana Bay. Don’t want to get wet? Then the new Interpretive Centre is another must-do. Imagine experiencing this any time you want.

Local’s tip for coffee and brunch.

If you’re looking for the best coffee and brunch in Bunbury, well, then you have to head to Bennesse. Their Victoria Street café is the perfect spot to take the dog, sit alfresco, and watch the world go by. You’ll get the same morish creations, cake and coffee at their sister-café at Treendale in Australind.

Australind

Beach, river and estuary; Australind is the aquatic playground for water enthusiasts who like to sail, windsurf or fish. Adding to Australind’s appeal are the excellent schools, it’s close to the South West’s largest Shopping Centre (Eaton Fair), and has easy access to the Forrest Highway. It’s also home to popular family suburbs of Treendale and Kingston estates.

 Treendale

Treendale is a popular estate in Australind and is only minutes from Bunbury, and you get a little more bang for your buck than building right in town. If you’re looking to balance a home amongst nature, but close to all the must-haves for family life, we think you’ll love Treendale. If your in Treendale take a quick tour of our display home The Ashwood and The Leeuwin.

Eaton

Cross the bridge from Treendale into Eaton and experience its relaxed vibe set on the banks of the Collie River. Sprawling parklands on the river foreshore offer picnic spots, and a walking track leads along the river to take in more of the picturesque surrounds. Eaton is home to two popular estates, Parkridge Estate and Millbridge Estate, both tick the boxes for beautiful new homes and family-friendly life.

Dalyellup

One of the South West’s best kept secrets; Dalyellup is not only one of the most affordable land estates in the region, but it also offers the best of being in a forest on the beach! Dalyellup is an idyllic neighbourhood for families with beautiful parklands, and super close to amenities and schools, so you’re never too far from home.
