The gift of fresh blooms can evoke positive, therapeutic emotions such as gratitude and appreciation for those on the receiving end. Beyond its obvious visual appeal, giving flowers can be a simple and thoughtful gesture, sure to brighten up any mum’s day.
With Mother’s Day one of the busiest occasions of the year for florists, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite florists in Perth that you can rely on for the brightest, freshest blooms, right up until Sunday morning. If you’re stuck for ideas as to what to buy mum this Sunday, or you’ve left gift-buying to the last minute, why not consider the power of flowers?

It’s hard to miss the buckets of blooms that line the southern end of Beaufort Street on any given day. A popular spot for flower-buying amongst locals, this end of the Beaufort Street strip has become somewhat of an institution for those last-minute floral gifts at reasonable prices.
It’s also worth driving a little further up Beaufort Street and dropping into Fresh Provisions and 2nd Ave Supa IGA. Their wide range of stunning cut blooms are exclusively wrapped beautifully, making them ideal Mother’s Day gifts.
A cult favourite amongst bride-to-bes, this short strip of Northwood Street features wholesale florists that open to the public.
Prices are on par with (or lower than) what you’d find on Beaufort Street, but the range here is seasonal, and vast and varied. If you’re hoping to put together your own arrangements, Everbloom is the place to drop by.
