Our mini-guide to what’s on in Perth shows us that some of the best things in life are free.
From watching movies under the stars at Northbridge Piazza to free yoga classes in the park, we’ve rounded up our favourite free things to do in the city that landed a coveted spot in the New York Times’ Top 52 Places to Go in 2014.

8. Plane spotting at Perth Airport
Here’s one for the kids – or kids at heart! Get up close and personal with Boeing 737s and Antonov 124s as they depart and arrive at Perth Airport. The outdoor viewing platform is a first for the Airport as part of an overall plan to improve the airport experience for its visitors.
